Harajuku Inspiration with Vintage
Let's dress up and get wild! 1960s mod style was able to provide the vibrant clothing for this Harajuku photoshoot.

What is Harajuku?
Harajuku fashion is mix of endless different fashion style. it was originated from Japan and Gwen Stefani popularized in US with her famous backstage dancers, Harajuku Girls.

Sunglasses were provided by Ashley Grace.
I was inspired by some Harajuku videos from a Youtube video. I grabbed my Barbie (because I always dress up Whitney and take pictures of her) and another model, Ashley (I just met her from Facebook and she has own feminine style store too) to do the photoshoot. I originally asked Miranda Whitney to be the photographer but someone was late for the hairstyling and then I kept messed up Ashley hair so poor Miranda waited for us too long and she has to go to another photoshoot.
My hair was teased and had some purple hair chalk. However you can tell the color is extremely difficult to show on my black hair.
I copied Victoria Secret Fashion Show inspired hairstyle on Whitney. Somehow it did not work on Ashley. Luckily Whitney stepped in and gave her a classic side bun.
The photoshoot was icy cold and it was snowing too! We were all freezing and shaking. That's why our photos came out not very focused. Sorry about the poor photo quality. :(
Clothing were used for the photoshoot:
60s Jodi Angora Wool Cropped Sweater |
60s Gay Gibson Ivory Pure Wool Shift Dress |
